How to perform music searches
Searching for Music
There are several ways you can search for music in the library. You can choose one that suits your style the most.
This function is our strongest music search tool and is accessible anytime from the bottom of our site. It allows you to search for music with a combination of tags. Tags are words that describe the track. They are separate into Genre, Moods, Instruments and Tempo.
How to use:
You can search by freely mixing the various categories - Genre, Moods, Instruments and Tempo. You can pick and choose any number of tags. The more tags you choose, the more narrowed your search will be.
Click 'Search'. A list of filtered tracks will appear matching your chosen tags.
Renew your search by selecting more or removing the tags.
If the Tags Table is hidden, you can click 'Show Tags' to see it.
A search bar is located in the header of every page. Using this function will allow you to search the whole library using keywords and other search terms of your choice.
Similar Tracks are tracks that sound like or match the tags and genres of an individual track. This enables you to quickly browse more music like those you have already selected.
The list of similar tracks is indicated at the bottom of the detailed individual track page.
Alternative Mixes include the variations of mixes, so called 'underscore', of a particular track.
The individual track pages have lists of alternative mix files at the bottom.
